PostSubject: book of Job   Thu Aug 14, 2008 7:37 am

So what do you guys think of the goes on in the book of Job.

We have an argument between God and satan which basically results in God betting satan that Job would remain true even if he loses his wealth, family, and his health.

When a difficulty, particularly a financial one comes my way (and it seems all too often) I think of Job to help me put my issues in perspective.

The book of Job does put things in proper perspective. It has helped me to understand that there is a reason for everything, even if we have no clue on why.

I pray that if I ever get tested that much (and I hope I don't), that I can have that much faith. I have a very strong faith. Job had a HUGE amount of faith.
