| I've decided to do this (a friend encouraged me on facebook...) anyone interested in joining me? in 6 weeks you'll be able to do 100 consecutive pushups. in my initial test i could do 31 today... at my best shape ever (in high school wrestling) I managed 50... but 100 seems impossible to me... so i need some moral support hop on and lemme know you're in... _________________ "sometimes a little more than you think you want is still a little less than you actually need" "brilliance seems too often masked by stupid people"

| I'll try, I'm pretty pathetic though. I don't think I'll be able to do 20 never mind 31 |

| OUCH!!!! I just completed my first day Being a person more focused on running then weight training, this will be interesting. I'm glad I'll have a day of rest to recoup. I'd much rather run 5 miles then do 10 or 20 pushups but as one gets older you start losing muscle mass. I'm getting to that age, so I need to seriously think about that. |

| haha i just finished day 1 yesterday and today I was sore behind my arms (I dont even know what that muscle is called, that runs down my side... near my back...)...
i'm thinking i'm curious if i could fit the 6 week program into 3... i might try... but it would mean pushups every day but 1/week...
i'll keep you posted.. _________________ "sometimes a little more than you think you want is still a little less than you actually need" "brilliance seems too often masked by stupid people"

| So far my arms aren't that sore. I did push myself, but after what I did yesterday I had thought I'd be more sore today. Perhaps as the day wears on my arms will feel worse |

| okay, I am new to these forums, but I saw this and had to drop a note to say that "i'm in"! My initial test got 18 out of me, and I am excited to get back into shape after a long hiatus... I'd post more to the forum, but I'll have to wait for the burning in my upper body to stop first.... Thanks! Dan |

| Welcome to the forum! I'm afraid to say that I have absolutely no desire to attempt this challenge, though I am altering my diet and starting to exercise again. _________________ \_ My blog: Discipulus Scripturae

| nice... welcome dan... and nathan - you'll come around
i did day 2 of week 1 yesterday and the program picks up really quick... i hope I can keep up... so far so good... this is rough tho... it will all be worth it if I actually manage 100 pushups at the end.... _________________ "sometimes a little more than you think you want is still a little less than you actually need" "brilliance seems too often masked by stupid people"

| I'm on week 2, day 1. Still sticking with it.
How about you guy(s).
btw, I'm on the wussie column of the program - column 2. While I'm happy that I'm not on the school girl column (column 1) its still pretty hard but I'm pleased with the results so far. |
