I'm obsessed with crocs
for sandals i'm a fan of chacos... i also like rainbows... but still prefer a good leather chaco...

i swear by both because I have terrible feet and only these shoes offer the necessary support...

I'm not a shoe person, per-say. I have feet problems as well so I need to be particular. I've not tried crocs other them in a store and the lack of padding is what would bother me.

I have some leather sandals. After 3 summers they are nice and worn in and still holding together well. Generally I prefer my Nikes.

but seriously... i care about technology and shoes...
i too have serious foot problems and have to stick to serious footwear
