Why do some translations have "in his triumphal procession" at the end of the verse as the REB, NJB and Lattimore (train) but others don't?

It appears to be added to make more plain what triumph/thriambeusas entails for readers unfamiliar with a Roman victory procession.

technically that was a google, followed by wikipedia. though i don't recall exactly, it is possible that i included 'wiki' in the google search; something i do when i know the wiki will have what i'm looking for.
