I'm partial to tiramisu and banana splits... Though my favorite is this thing at a local italian restaurant which he calls a fondente. It's a flourless chocolate cake. Basically it's like dark chocolate batter that is crystalized into a shell on the outside and it is hot and liquidy on the inside, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. If you like chocolate it's the best thing ever.

hmm...

as a staunch donut eater, I find it difficult to take my favorite desert and then qualify it as one... as often I eat donuts before and in-between meals and never seem to have quite enough....

mmm... glazed caked or glazed old fashioned cake donut...

Well, donuts are not the best dessert in the world, but if you are talking donuts, then blueberry cake would have to be near the top of the list.
