this is one of those ridiculous proverbs like

confucious say " man who run in front of car get tired, man who run behind car get exhausted"

but i say... just throw rocks through the window... maybe a brother... if they get hurt then dont go out... otherwise go for it.

i generally think, he closes doors more because he likes us where we are even if we dont... but otherwise its just closing a door to open another.. the whole window analogy is just absurd.

I agree whole heartedly. I think God does close some doors, sometimes he'll open another, sometimes, he'll not open any for a period of time. There's times he wants us to act and other times he wants us to be still.

Another quote that I keep that is ridiculous is from Ben Franklin - "God helps those who helps themselves" This of course is not Biblical but Its thrown in my face like it is. Particularly when I'm waiting on the Lord for direction.
