Does God care about Unreached People Groups or just the unreached people?

Just curious what your take is.
is there anything significant about an actually "unreached people group" -however we decide to define that.

or does God just care about souls wherever they are and whatever their language or ethnicity?

I'm not sure that these terms are mutually exclusive. Aren't unreached people part of an unreached people group? The latter term is just a convenient way of categorizing targets for mission activity as far as I know.

thats pretty much my take.
but some people see only the need to reach unreached people groups. and consider unreached people which are a part of a reached people group to be of less immediate importance. particularly if they see it as prescriptive for the return of Jesus.

Haven't been here in a while. There was a strange silence surrounding my posts. I thought y'all might be ignoring me. Glad to see the forums still going.

I agree with you on this. Though the statement in Revelation 7:9 seems to indicate that God has some delight in the diversity of his people, and allows it to persist.

no its mostly just been that the whole thing has slowly died... in fact I got an email today threatening to shut the thing down if i didn't do something about it...
