Ads on your blog?

How do you feel about ads on your blog?

I put a lot of time into the Heidelberg Confession. I'd like to put some sort of advertising on there but it might look tacky and if I use Adsense who knows what ads would come up. Maybe Amazon at the top but the return is so low for the price of looking tacky.

In any case I want to put an Amazon search thingy in the sidebar of my blog but I don't know if it's popular enough yet for anything to happen with that.

Jeff

Genesis 15:13-14

Then the Lord said to him, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.

Exodus 12:40

40 Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years.

Galatians 3:15-18

15 Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life.
So I was just thinking about this today and curious about your thoughts...

It seems like when Jesus was on earth he was happy to, and excited about healing everyone who came to him. (maybe there are people he didn't heal I dont know, but the account sure seems to be that if the person came to him with enough faith to seek healing then he healed them).

so why doesn't he heal everyone who asks now?

is it because when he did the healing in person there was no question as to who would ...

I have put up a page with the Heidelberg Catechism. I use a Scripture reference plugin for this page (the whole blog actually) which makes it unique as far as I've seen. I had to do a lot of work for format things so that it looks nicer and so that the references work with this particular plugin.

If any of you have time, could you take a good look at it?
I posted this question over at macnn, but I am curious as to what the visitors/members of theologer think.

How many of you have the automatic comments turned off. In other words you need to approve all the comments unless they're from trusted individuals. I found early on by allowing unapproved comments, I was getting a lot of spam.

Second question, how many of you have multiple blogs?
Has anyone heard of this theology.

I suppose in some ways it might have its roots in armenian theology.

Here's a brief definition from wikipedia

Quote:Open theism, also known as free will theism, is a philosophical view about the nature of a theistic God's knowledge, according to which God is incapable, to some extent, of knowing the future actions of a human being with free will.

I say it has some armenian roots, only because it relies heavily on the free will of man. I have been Libertarian in my politics for some time, I was even a big Ron Paul supporter. The fact that McCain would be more conservative than Obama or Clinton pushed me into his camp. I don't believe McCain has a chance in the fall, even if he ...

I'm obsessed with crocs

for sandals i'm a fan of chacos... i also like rainbows... but still prefer a good leather chaco...

i swear by both because I have terrible feet and only these shoes offer the necessary support...

you?
