| Ok, lets all lay our cards out on the table (so to speak). Where did you go to school at? This seems to be a required step at all the school forums...

Mr. Mugs, Louisiana Baptist Universty (LBU) is not accredited regionally or nationally. My PhD, though I had to work for it, is not comparable to a PhD from nearby New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
LBU is a religious instution that is approved by the BBFI (Baptist Bible Fellowship International), a missionary organization. So I don't want to give anyone the wrong impression about my degrees from unaccredited schools. They serve me well in my ministry as a bi-vocal pastor. |

I am always amazed by the number of MAs, MDivs, DMins, and PhDs that post on these type of boards. I suppose all of us "nerds" enjoy discussing issues and debating topics . In that group, btw, I include those "nerds" who don't have MA, MDiv, DMin, or PhD degrees. A person is born a nerd and does not become a nerd by earning a degree.
As for LBU, don't put down your education. LBU generally has a good reputation and I am sure you worked hard for your degrees. Welcome to the board!! _________________ Martin. The Scroll |

| Ethan, welcome to the forum.
I have to agree with Martin on this one. God bless, my brother. |

| | Brothers, I know the many discussions about accredited versus unaccredited, so I just want to make myself clear. Thanks for you, kind words. |
