R.C. Sproul's "What is Reformed Theology?: Understanding the Basics" has been recommended - is there a better starting point for learning the essentials?

Thanks!

it sounds boring but the westminster confession of faith is a pretty straightforward book with most of these answers...

i found it really helpful and EXTREMELY helpful as a reference tool.

edit: i mean... catechism (the longer) not confession of faith... brain fart.

I've read it twice, using the old title "Grace Unknown." It's a good one on Reformed Theology.
